- Positive attitude during each class; and listens to the instructors
- Comes prepared and gives 100%
- Acts as a role model during for fellow dancers
How is the Dancer of the Month selected:
Nominated by an instructor, studio director, other students and parents. (Nominations are submitted by the last Saturday of every month!)

We are hosting our Annual Bring a Friend Week, the week of October 25th through October 31st. This is a time that your child can bring a friend to participate with them in the classroom.
We will be passing out small gifts to each of the guests, and give them the chance to enjoy dance with your child. The children can bring as many friends as they like.
As an added bonus, the child who has the MOST kids REGISTER for classes before November 3rd will…
1 - WIN a free United Dance Arts Duffle bag with their name on it.
2 - Receive a credit for 1 month of their usual dance class fees in the month of December
As this event will be during the week of Halloween, the children are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes!
The costumes must be safe and appropriate to dance in, or the teacher may ask them to sit out for safety reasons. There should be no masks that cover their faces and their hair should still be off their faces.
We look forward to meeting all your friends!
Keep on Dancing,
Melina Yallourakis

Team Try-Outs
We have had an incredibly successful dance team this year and are always looking for new additions who want to achieve the pinnacle of successful competition. It is fun and challenging and offers a great deal of satisfaction and physical development. Look for try-out dates in June, or ask me (Melina) or one of the instructors about being on “TEAM”.
A Special Note on the Recital
Due to an unprecedented response for recital tickets, we are looking for solutions to allow more people to see the incredible work your children have accomplished all year. The solutions we are looking at are a second show added in the morning, or a change of venue - stay tuned.
A reminder on Fees: In able to participate in the recital, all balances must be paid in full.
A new way to get all the news - The UDA Blog is here! (Right here… you have found it!)
This Blog is now active and being regularly updated with information. Come back right here; or, when you are on our website - follow the links back here. Like most blogs, YOU can comment on events, competition results, and much more! Give it a shot now…
Also a special thanks to all the parents and children - it has been a pleasure watching everyone improve so quickly during the year - something I know our instructors take a great deal of pride in.
Looking Forward to an Exciting and Entertaining Recital
Keep on Dancing!
